Eli's been saying a lot of cute things lately and I haven't been as good about writing them down. I'll try to be better about that!
Today, he jumped off the couch and then told me "I was able to fly, but then I fell down. Where are my wings?" I told him I didn't know he had wings, and he said "Yes, like Buzz Lightyear!"
The other day, we were reading Curious George goes to the Zoo and got to the part about how people were trying to get the balloon down but couldn't reach it. Eli said to me... They need Inspector Gadget. I asked him why, and he said "because of his go go gadget arms!" Yes!!!
Yesterday, I was changing Liam's diaper on the floor and he started screaming and crying and trying to get away. Eli ran over and took a blanket and started throwing it at Liam. Wondering where this was going, I stayed quiet. Moments later, Eli said: "Don't worry, Liam! I'll rescue you with my lucky, lucky lasso!" :)
