-A trip to the bronx zoo, where Eli got to see the Gorillas in the congo. He's still talking about them. :) Jenn got us a year membership to the zoo... I'm SO SO SO excited!
-Two trips to the NY Hall of Science... a great museum with a HUGE fun Science playground, a great preschool play area, and a really fun sports area. She also gifted us with a membership there, which includes admission to MANY museums around the country. SUPER cool.
-A trip to MD to visit my mom! Eli got to see Emily, ride the choo choo at Cabin John Park and play in the pool in Grandma's backyard.
-A trip to the Crayola Factory in Pennsylvania.... something I've wanted to do for years....but something that was a great disappointment. It was pretty much a marketing ploy... rooms set up to advertise each of their products. I'm really glad we went there, though, and even though Eli had a few breakdowns, he really had a good time.

Eli's become more and more talkative and tells us the funniest things. The other day, he spilled his applesauce on the floor. He said "Mommy, I made a mess!" Me: "Why did you do that?" Eli: "Because I'm sad." Me: "Why are you sad?" Eli (pointing to the ceiling): "Because the cow jumped over the moooooooooon!"
I've been trying to get him to understand the concept of one more time... especially when we're playing ring around the rosie. So a few days ago, I gave him a raisin box and he quickly finished it and asked for more. I told him no. He asked again for more, and again I said no. Then, it a cute little voice, I heard "one more time, raisins?" HA. I laughed out loud and gave him another box, just for the cuteness.
I have to be better about writing down the things he says.
Off to beeeeed. Liam slept from 10pm to 4:30am last night! What a treat!!! WOOHOO!
