Right now, he asked if he could watch "The New One" (aka Toy Story 2). I said, "Yes you can." Eli then, in a sing-songy voice, kept repeating, "Yes my can... yes my can." I love their logic and sentence structure. :)
Of course he changed his mind and asked instead to watch "The Percy One." (He's obsessed with Thomas the train.... we cued up an episode for him on our streaming Netflix...Creaky Cranky...and FINALLY got him to watch a different one.... one about Percy). The show started and he didn't recognize it... he wanted to see the British Conductor talking. He was like - NO!!! Want to watch the man driver! The man driver!!!
I ordered pizza a few nights ago, and when the delivery guy came, Eli called him "the man guy." Apparently, "the man guy is going to whistle!"
At my mom's house, Eli crawled out of his pack n play numerous times.... plus, he's too tall for it now. I was thinking of getting him a Toy Story sleeping bag but there is zero chance my child is going to just lay down and not get up. So we ordered him the KidCo Peapod tent.... it should last until he's 6... hopefully he likes it!
I have to go to work to get my PPD test read, so instead of taking a super long trip for a 5 second thing, I'm going to make a day of it and take the boys to the coney island boardwalk and to the aquarium! wish me luck!
