Some Eli quotes, as of late:
He likes to tell me "If you don't let me do _____, I'm going to scream/be crazy/bother you/wake up Brielle." Testing his limits, that one.
ALLLLL day long in February and March, he sets up animal battles, like... lion vs. tiger. He wants you to pick which one you think will win, but if you pick the wrong one, he makes you re-select which one he wants you to pick. He then describes an entire battle in detail, using words from all of the animal shows and books that he sees.
Yesterday during nap time, I wanted him to lay down. He kept sitting up. Finally, he said "Mommy, I want to sit here and think about my behavior."
On March 5th:
Eli was taking waaay longer than he should have in the bathroom so I went in to see what was going on. What did I find? He was laying on the floor, sucking toothpaste. You can't make this stuff up.
