Well, it happened, just like we predicted! Brielle took her first steps on Friday, November 22nd, at night right before she went to bed. We had just gotten back from a shopping trip to Ikea and Mike was in the bedroom with all 3 kids, getting them into their pajamas. Brielle was at the foot of the bed, enticed by a Lego, and she took about 3 steps! I pulled her over to the other side of the bed where she took a few more steps. We then put her in the living room to try to catch the steps in action, and we did! She took about 5 steps to Mike on the couch! Liam was there and was so excited and happy for her. She was SO proud of herself.
Today, a week later, she is really growing in confidence day by day. Today, she was walking all OVER the place at Lolo and Lola's house. She can now go a good 20 to 30 feet at a time. It's very cute to see her up and about, little person that she is.
She also said her first real word, other than mama or dada. On Thursday, November 21st, she said "Go." She of course is not yet using it with reason or purpose, but she said it several times and it was really cute to hear.
She's growing up so fast!
