Thought I would take a minute to jot down the kids' favorite things... as of October 7, 2013.
Brielle at almost 8 months:
-absolute favorite thing in the world is eating leaves
-playing in the sandbox (and finding leaves to eat)
-squealing
-licking/playing with shoes
-playing with cords, especially mommy's computer cord, the cords behind the TV and the one near the kitty litter box
-making a beeline for the fridge whenever someone opens it
-making a beeline for the bathroom whenever the door is open
-chasing the cats
Liam, at 2 years, 4 months:
-crying
-whining
-crying AND whining
-having a fit if it takes me longer than 1 second to give him what he wants
-screaming
-throwing things
-coloring on things he's not supposed to (the table, his train tracks)
-getting into fights with his brother
-running away from me when it's time to change his diaper
-playing in the sandbox with trucks
-being chased on the playground
-riding his scooter
-playing the iPad
-reading a book called "Bi Bim Bop"
-taking all of the cushions off of the couch
-dumping out all of his baskets of toys
-playing with trains
-getting baths
-jumping on the bed/on mommy instead of listening to stories
Eli, at 4 years, 5 months
-whining
-poking his brother in the eye/pulling his ears/poking him in the face
-riding his scooter inside/crashing it into Liam
-holding/cuddling with/laughing with Brielle
-reading long books
-learning phonics
-rhyming words
-watching TV
-playing the iPad
-getting showers
-jumping/falling
-not sitting down when he eats
Mommy, at 35 years, 3 months
-quiet
-taking full showers
-times when everyone is playing and no poking or yelling is happening (rarrrreee)
-times when everyone eats their lunch (what would that be like?)
-times (HA) when everyone is sleeping
-times when everyone sleeps til at least 7am (rare. very rare. only happens for daddy).
-reading long stories to the boys
-frozen margaritas
-nights out with friends
-morning trips to the playground
-baby laughs
-feeding Brielle
-listening to Adele while cleaning/organizing/washing dishes/cooking.
-baking, preferably with no little tasters around
