Eli is fully potty trained now! (Except for night... we still do pull-ups at night). He got it in just a few days and has had very few accidents since. He's good at telling me when he needs to go when we're out and has no fear of public restrooms. Whew!
The boys LOVE tearing apart the couch now. The cushions are always off and they are constantly using them to build a new "house" or to jump on them or hit each other with them.
Eli's favorite thing to watch these days is Sesame Street. Yay!
Liam constantly lays on top of Brielle.
Every morning, the boys wake up around 6:20 or so. I've now trained them to come out and cuddle with me for a few minutes. Yesterday was interesting cause they both insisted on cuddling at the same time....on the couch... it was great. :)
Eli constantly tackles Liam, pulls him by the head, lays/jumps on top of him, etc. I can't believe no one has broken anything and I can't believe their faces aren't always bloody. Liam likes to bite Eli. He comes over and says "ite!" and points to his teeth after he's done it.
We made it to the zoo yesterday, quite the adventure with both of them out of the stroller! We also made it to the library. Eli's getting old enough that I know he's not going to do anything TOO dangerous, and I can leave him while I'm chasing after Liam. He's also pretty good at telling me if Liam is about to do something bad or dangerous.
Liam likes to try singing the ABCs, but all he gets out is "A A A! A A A!"
This morning, Liam came out with green marker on his face. I quickly remembered seeing a green sharpie somewhere yesterday but couldn't remember where. Liam wouldn't tell me where it was. After a search, I found it... on TOP of the dresser in the bedroom. This means that he climbed up boxes to get to the top of the dresser, colored his face, put the cap on, and came out. Thank goodness his face is the only thing he colored... but baaaad that he figured out how to climb the dresser. Sigh.
I took the crib apart yesterday and we took it out to the trash. Sad. It just doesn't make sense to store it right now and it really opened up the room. Brielle is sleeping in her pack n play and has only been in the crib three times. I loved that crib and am sad she won't get to use it when we move... but that's ok... it was squeaky and covered with teeth marks. We'll get her a convertible bed, and then if there are teeth marks in it, it's her own fault.
Making progress in decluttering. The train table is going to go to my friend Kerry's house to stay until we move. I think I'm going to keep one of the bookshelves and ask my neighbors if we can just stick it in their apartment during open houses. The goal, for me anyway, is to have the realtors come over May 3rd and get this puppy on the market!
