Eli continues to be obsessed with the Wizard of Oz and tonight played a "game" where he pretended to be the lion. We literally did this at least 75 times in a row - i kid you not. He'd say "I want to be the lion again." Me: "OK!" (super enthusiastically). Him: "Ok sir!" (i have to check the movie tomorrow to see where this is from) and would then put a basket on his head, spin around and fall until it fell off, then roar/bark like the lion does when he makes his first entrance. After the 20th time or so of doing this, the game then evolved to me having to say "Hey Liam...what is your Kuya Eli doing? Is he hiding behind the TV? OH - THERE he is!" Lol... If I "forget" to say an important part of the script, Eli feeds me the line. "TV, MOMMY!" He looooves to have Liam watch whatever he is doing and loves it even more when I talk to Liam about what he's doing.
Eli also continues to love when Liam sits at the little table with him to "play" trains. The whole session basically consists of me trying my hardest to keep Liam from falling off the chair while trying to get him to put his hand on one of the trains so Eli thinks he's moving it. That's getting harder to do now that Eli insists that I should "Let Liam do it himself!"
This morning, Eli wheeled Liam around on his motorcycle and LOVED doing it. He was very protective and careful when Liam was riding with him and he held onto his little brother and kept giving him kisses. It's so sweet to see how much Eli loves his little brother.
Yesterday, we were driving in the car and Liam had had enough... he started crying and wouldn't stop. Eli informed us he needed his pacifier. lol...he does that a lot. When that didn't work, Eli kept saying "It's ok, buddy. We're almost home. It's ok buddy.. it's ok buddy..it's ok buddy." It was the CUTEST thing ever.
