Today you are one week old! You've been home with us for 5 days now. I love you so, so much! I'm really cherishing every moment with you, even those not-so-fun middle of the night feedings. You're so tiny and I love kissing your little head and looking at your tiny little toes. Your legs are still all curled up so I can see exactly how it was that you fit inside mommy for all of those months!
*You LOVE eating. It's insane how much you want to eat. I think you'd eat all day if mommy would let you. Breastfeeding is going well this time around and you're eating for about 10-15 minutes per side.
*You're a pacifier kind of guy. To calm you down, we either give you the green pacifier or our pinky finger to suck on. This usually works for about 5 minutes and SOMETIMES you fall asleep.
*You're a pretty good sleeper! At night, you'll go four hours and mommy has to wake you up to feed you. (Dr. Grant said we only have to wake you up for one more week... then I can let you sleep sleep sleep!). You've been taking a really good 3-4 hour nap mid-afternoon which has been coinciding with Eli's nap! Yay! Rest for mommy!
*You HATE having your diaper changed or your clothes off.
*You LOVE looking at the window, the lights and the kitchen cabinets.
That's about it in the life of Liam right now!
